Danny Hone sprang on to the first team scene in November 2007 while still only a youth team player.

Danny, the son of former Imps' player Mark Hone, quickly showed performances beyond his years. This persuaded Imps' boss Peter Jackson to reward these displays by offering Hone a professional contract until June 2010.

A bright future looks likely for the talented youngster.

As reward his performances, which showed maturity beyond his years, Hone was awarded the Lincoln City FC Away Player of the Season for 2007/08 season. He was also the joint winner of the Lincoln City FC Young Player of the Season for 2007/08.
