22nd December 2005

You might have noticed that it is Christmas, so The Forgotten Imp presents the concise Lincoln City Christmas Panto.

CinderRyan

"Can I go for the goal?" asked CinderRyan

"No you cannot!" screamed the ugly sisters Asamoah and Green in unison. "We're going to shoot wide all night, and not let you have a turn!"

As the ugly sisters got changed, the Fairy Godmother appeared. "CinderRyan, you shall go for goal. But remember, you have only 120 minutes to score or else your professional dream falls apart!"

CinderRyan's dancing and jinxing around the goal caught the attention of many, including Prince Keith Charming. However, 120 minutes had passed and CinderRyan had not scored and he was instantly returned to the reserves.

However, as CinderRyan ran from the ground, he lost his golden boot.

"I must know more!" exclaimed Prince Keith Charming, as he grabbed the golden boot. "He could be the answer to my prayers!"

Prince Keith Charming scoured the lands looking for the striker of his dreams but to no avail. Then one day, he knocked on the ugly sisters' door and asked them to try on the golden boot.

Both the ugly sisters tried on the golden boot but try as they might, it fitted neither.

"Is there anyone else in the house?" enquired Prince Keith Charming.

"Well only CinderRyan" said Ugly sister Green, "but it's not likely to be his, is it?"

Ugly sister Asamoah joined in the laughter, as did Prince Keith Charming. "You're right" he said, "as if CinderRyan deserves a go! So is there anyone else in the house?"

With that, Buttons stepped forward. "Might I try it on please?"

"Ok" agreed Prince Keith Charming "I've tried everyone else!"

Buttons tried on the golden boot and magically, it was a perfect fit.

"At last!" exclaimed Prince Keith Charming. "A perfect fit. What is your name?"

Buttons looked up and replied: "Simon Buttons Yeo, and I'll be back next week from New Zealand!"
