Asamoah
Joins Chester

As expected, Lincoln City's striker Derek
Asamoah has
joined League Two rivals Chester City. However, the
transfer is not a permanent one, which had been expected.
Asamoah's contract at Lincoln expires in June 2006, and
all parties have agreed a deal whereby Asamoah will join
Chester on loan for six months. In theory, this means
that he could revive his career at Sincil Bank, although
it would seem doubtful.
