To Villain

Simon Yeo turned from hero to villain in the matter of a
minute when Lincoln played Peterborough United this
afternoon.
Lincoln were trailing 1-0 with just five minutes
remaining, that was until Yeo stooped to head the ball
into the net for 1-1. With Lincoln's fans in jubilant
voice, he raced over to The Imps' fans to celebrate his
equaliser. Unfortunately, his celebrations earnt him a
second yellow card, which equated to a red card, and Yeo
was sent-off.
Yeo will now miss Lincoln City's match against Bristol
Rovers on Saturday 28th January due to a one-match ban.
Despite reports elsewhere, there is no right to appeal
against two yellow cards and the suspension will stand.
