Rochdale
Sign Imps' Target
1st February 2006
Lincoln City FC manager Keith Alexander was left a
disappointed man when the transfer window closed on
January 31st.
Throughout January - and indeed over the past couple of
seasons - Alexander has been trying to sign Iyseden
Christie. Now, the chances of Christie ever appearing in
a Lincoln City shirt appear to have ended for good.
On Tuesday, Christie signed for Rochdale from
Kidderminster Harriers. This will have left Alexander
doubly disappointed because Rochdale have paid
substantially less than the £50,000 that Alexander was
quoted for Christie.
In a joint transfer swoop, Rochdale have paid just
£35,000 to Kidderminster for both Christie and Mark
Jackson.
