Duo Sign
Contracts

On February 27th, The Forgotten Imp reported that first year
professionals Lee Frecklington and Ollie Ryan had been
offered new contracts. We can now report that both have
signed these new contracts, which tie them to Lincoln
City until June 2007.
Frecklington and Ryan are both first year professionals
and although Frecklington has enjoyed 2006 slightly
better than Ryan has, both are on the verge of a first
team run. Frecklington started Lincoln's last match
against Notts County, meaning that he has made 9 first
team appearances so far this season, scoring one goal.
Whereas Ryan - an unused substitute in Lincoln's 2-2 draw
against Rushden and Diamonds - has made 10 appearances
but has yet to score.
Six months ago, it seemed very unlikely that Frecklington
and Ryan would remain at Sincil Bank, as both had been
sent on loan to minor non-league clubs.
