Stant In
New Project
20th
March 2006
Phil Stant, who is a former Lincoln City player and
manager, is to embark on a new project.
Stant has recently published his autobiography of his
life, which naturally includes full details of his time
spent at his various football clubs. The book is called
"Ooh Aah Stantona" (right) and is
currently available here at 50% off the published
price.
Now, in a follow-up to his book, he is hoping to travel
to the Falkland Islands to tell the horror of the
Falkland's War. As part of his project, he is hopeful of
taking a current high-profile footballer to the Islands
and also to met Diego Maradona. The whole event will be
filmed in the hope of being shown at a later date.
Stant has today given a full interview to The Times'
newspaper, which you can read by clicking here.
Stant's career began at non-league Camberley in 1981 and
encompassed spells at Reading, Hereford United, Notts
County, Blackpool, Lincoln City (twice), Huddersfield
Town, Fulham, Mansfield Town (twice), Cardiff City, Bury,
Northampton, Brighton and Hove Albion, Worcester City,
Dover Athletic, Hayes, Gainsborough Trinity and Ilkeston
Town.
