Play-off
Rules
15th May 2006
Lincoln City travel to Grimsby Town on Tuesday evening
for the second leg of the League Two play-off semi-final.
Presently, Lincoln trail 1-0 on aggregate. This means
that Lincoln need to win by a two goal margin to
guarantee progression to the final. If however, Lincoln
lead by a one goal margin at the end of ninety minutes
then thirty minutes of extra time will be played.
Should extra time fail to separate the two teams'
aggregate score line then a penalty shoot-out will be
used to decide the winner.
Remember: away goals do not count as double at any stage
of a play-off tie.
