Imps'
Target Joins Carlisle
31st May 2006
One of Lincoln City's - or maybe that should now read
Peterborough United's - transfer targets has joined
another club.
Last week, former Imps' boss Keith Alexander revealed
that he was trying to bring striker Kevin Gall to Sincil
Bank.
Alexander has now left Lincoln and has been named as
Peterborough United's new manager. Meanwhile, Gall has
opted to join newly promoted League One club Carlisle
United.
Carlisle and Lincoln were two of the twelve clubs who
were interested in signing Gall, who is a former Welsh
Under-21 striker. The other ten clubs were Bristol
Rovers, Cheltenham Town, Darlington, Doncaster Rovers,
Grimsby Town, Huddersfield Town, Leyton Orient,
Northampton Town, Southend United and Swindon Town.
