Harford Is
Out Of Imps' Job Race
12th June 2006
Former Lincoln City striker Mick Harford has ruled
himself out of contention for the vacant Lincoln City's
manager position.
Harford had emerged as an early favourite for the job, as
he is a popular ex-Imps' player. However, Harford has
decided not to apply for The Imps' job despite sources in
Nottingham reporting that he had applied for the then
vacant Notts County manager's job.
Harford said: "I loved my time at Lincoln and it
helped launch my career, but I haven't applied for the
job there."
He has also stated his desire to return to a management
or coaching role as soon as he can but for some reason,
he does not want the Lincoln job.
