Pre-season Game Confirmed

A fifth pre-season game has been confirmed for Lincoln
City FC, which will see a former Imp trying to gain
victory over his old club.
Lincoln City FC will travel to Spalding United FC for a
friendly just days before the start of the new season.
This match takes place at the Sir Halley Stewart Field,
Spalding on Tuesday August 1st, kick off is 7.45pm.
An added interest to the match is that Spalding United
are managed by Phil Hubbard, who is one of Lincoln City
Football Club's all time most loyal players. Hubbard had
two spells at Lincoln City, which were between 1965 to
1971 and between 1976 to 1979. In total, he made 282
appearances for Lincoln City, which makes him 18th in the
list of "most number of player appearances for The
Imps".
Lincoln City FC's pre-season programme now reads:
Thursday July 20th - Grimsby Town v Lincoln City (LSC)
Monday July 24th - Lincoln City v Leicester City.
Wednesday July 26th - Lincoln City v Nottingham Forest.
Saturday July 29th - Ilkeston Town v Lincoln City.
Tuesday August 1st - Spalding United v Lincoln City
Grantham Town are also hoping to arrange a friendly
against Lincoln City during July.
