Liverpool Friendly Confirmed

The date for Lincoln City FC's prestigious friendly against Liverpool has been confirmed.

The friendly match will take place on Wednesday August 16th at Sincil Bank. The match has been arranged as part of the transfer deal that saw Liverpool sign youth team defender Jack Hobbs in August 2005.

Lincoln City's friendly programme for the 2006/07 season now reads:

Thursday July 13th - Arnold Town v Lincoln City (7.30pm)
Friday July 14th - Lincoln United v Lincoln City (7.30pm)
Monday July 17th - Gainsborough v Lincoln City (7.30pm)
Thursday July 20th - Grimsby Town v Lincoln City (LSC) (7.45pm)
Saturday July 22nd - Kettering Town v Lincoln City (3.00pm)
Monday July 24th - Lincoln City v Leicester City (7.45pm)
Wednesday July 26th - Lincoln City v Nottingham Forest (7.45pm)
Friday July 28th - North Ferriby United v Lincoln City (7.30pm)
Saturday July 29th - Ilkeston Town v Lincoln City (3.00pm)
Tuesday August 1st - Spalding United v Lincoln City (7.45pm)
Saturday August 5th - Start of the 2006/07 season.
Wednesday August 16th - Lincoln City v Liverpool.
