Round Dates For 2006/07

In the third of our series of "Dates for Your
Diary", we now highlight the round dates of the
2006/07 season's FA Cup. Regrettably, we Lincoln City FC
supporters probably need not look beyond the second
round! This is because Lincoln City FC have reached the
third round on just two occasions since the 1976/77
season.
The first occasion was the 1994/95 season when Sam Ellis'
men lost 5-1 at Crystal Palace. The second occasion since
1977 was a more respectable affair when Lincoln narrowly
lost 1-0 at home to Sunderland during the 1998/99 season.

The 2006/07 season's FA Cup will commence on Saturday
August 19th with the extra preliminary round for minor
non-league clubs. Lincoln City will enter the competition
at the first round proper stage, which will take place on
Saturday 11th November.
