Duo Loan Update

It would appear that two Lincoln City FC players are so
far not having the best of loan spells at Tamworth.
Imps' duo Gary Birch and Tom Kemp both opted to join
Conference club Tamworth last Friday for a month's loan.
Both were immediately given a starting place for
Tamworth's opening league match against newly promoted
Weymouth.
For Kemp, who is a first year professional, this meant
that he made his professional debut. Unfortunately,
Tamworth were 3-0 down when he was substituted in the
57th minute - but obviously, this loan is intended as a
learning curve for Kemp, so he should not be too
disappointed.
Meanwhile, Imps' striker Gary Birch lasted 62 minutes
before being replaced.
Yesterday evening saw Tamworth travel to Gravesend and
Northfleet. Unfortunately, neither Birch or Kemp
participated as both were unused substitutes.
