Bacon
Returns To Action
Lincoln
City 2 Scunthorpe 0
30th August 2006
Lincoln City have been given a boost ahead of Friday's
match against Accrington Stanley with the news that Danny
Bacon has regained fitness.
Bacon has been absent after suffering a head and ankle
injury during the opening fixture against Notts County on
August 5th.
This afternoon, Bacon was named in the Lincoln City
reserve team to play Scunthorpe United at Ashby Avenue.
The match ended as a 2-0 victory to Lincoln City via
goals from Ryan Semple and Martin Gritton.
Semple is likely to be rewarded with a starting place
against Accrington as Lincoln are missing both Ryan Amoo
and Jeff Hughes for the match.
