Frecklington Honoured

23rd April 2007

Lincoln City FC's Lee Frecklington was today celebrating after being named in the PFA League Two Team of the Year for the 2006/07 season.

Frecklington was the only Imps' player to win an award but his recognition is fully deserved for an excellent season, in which he has made 43 appearances, scoring 10 goals.

On a national note, Manchester United's Cristiano Ronaldo was named as both PFA's Player of the Year and PFA's Young Player of the Year. The awards are made based on votes from all of the PFA's professional footballers.
