Grimsby Rule Out Morgan Move

Grimsby Town have ruled out a move for Lincoln City FC's Paul Morgan.

Earlier this week, speculation had mounted that Morgan could be on his way to a shock move to Grimsby Town, after Morgan expressed a desire to rejoin his former manager Alan Buckley. The shock would have been because Morgan has submitted a transfer request so as to move to the north-west where he will study at a Manchester University.

Buckley told the Grimsby Telegraph: "That is news to me. I have not had any contact with Lincoln or Paul Morgan. The short answer is no - there is no truth in that."

Bury remain the favourite to sign Morgan.
