Mid-Table Finish Predicted

4th June 2007

Lincoln City FC are set for an average 2007/08 season, at least according to the bookmakers they are.

Sporting Odds have now released their odds for the new season; they have listed Lincoln City at 20/1 to win League Two. Unsurprisingly, big spending Peterborough United are rated as favourites for the divisional title at 7/2. By visiting Sporting Odds you could qualify for up to £100 in free bets!

League newcomers Dagenham & Redbridge and Morecambe are listed as outsiders, with
Sporting Odds more of the opinion that a relegation fight the likely outcome for the pair. According to the odds, Keith Alexander will have his work cut out at Bury, as his new club are the favourites for relegation. Of course with Alexander's track record, it could provide a surprise windfall for a brave punter who backs Bury for promotion.

County rivals Grimsby Town are quoted at 25/1. They too could be worth a punt, as Alan Buckley turned around the club during the latter part of last season. Looking at the list, Rotherham United seem good value at 20/1 to win the division.
