Lincoln City FC's pre-season is well underway, as The Imps travel to France for a couple of matches. Already, Lincoln City have two wins under their belts.

First, Lincoln City's pre-season began with a loss to Retford, however, The Imps team consisted of youth team players.

The first team began their pre-season campaign on Wednesday evening when they defeated local rivals Lincoln United. Goals from trialist Steve McCarthy and Ollie Ryan secured Lincoln City's victory.

Next for Lincoln City was a friendly against Grantham Town, where they gained a 4-2 win. Danny N'Guessan was man-of-the-match as he set up two goals for Jamie Forrester plus scored one himself. Ollie Ryan netted Lincoln's other goal.

Lincoln will now play Pau and Ganets D'Anglet on their French tour.
