All Off?

Rather a short update today, due to today's match at Macclesfield Town being postponed.

The game was not the only "off" this week, as it looks likely that Lincoln City's proposed deal for Luton Town's Lewis Emanuel will also be off. The state of play is that Lincoln tabled a bid for Emanuel but they face competition from several other clubs, including clubs from League One. This is a great shame because having seen Emanuel play twice, we can voucher that he would have been a quality signing and quite a coup for Lincoln considering their league position. He would have quickly become a crowd favourite at Sincil Bank.

It has also been a week that has seen contract negotiations being mentioned. Alas for players out of contract in June, they have been told that negotiations will not take place until later in the season - if at all. Already, Jack Cotton, Ryan Semple and Phil Watt are unlikely to be offered new deals as all three have been placed on the transfer list but not yet released as stated in the local media last week.
