It is that time of year again when the annual player
awards are handed out.
This year's winner of the Lincoln City FC Player of the
Season award for 2007/08 is right-back Paul Green,
despite being a part of a leaky Imps' defence. Green took
the prize ahead of runner-up Scott Kerr and third placed
Jamie Forrester, who both could be released by Lincoln
next week.
Taking the Away Player of the Season is youngster Danny
Hone who has shown maturity beyond his years during
several matches this season. Hone was also given the
2007/08 season's Young Player of the Season award,
although he must share that with fellow teenager Lennell
John-Lewis.
