Is Kristen The Next Big Thing?

Kristen Williams is probably a name that you will not have heard off before today. However, he could well be a name that you will hear a lot of in the future for Kristen has just joined Lincoln City FC's centre of excellence.

Still only 14 years of age, Kristen already stands at 6 foot tall. he is a striker by trade. This season he has netted over 20 goals for Rolls-Royce Leisure Under-14's thereby helping his team to the Division Two title in the Young Elizabethan League.

Kristen has already had trials at Liverpool FC but was unsuccessful. His trial at Lincoln was almost over before it began as he suffered a broken arm in a match against Mansfield Town. Thankfully, Lincoln persisted, and when fit, showed his promise by netting twice in three matches.

So could Kristen follow in the footsteps of Darren Huckerby and more recently Danny Hone and Lennell John-Lewis by graduating to the professional ranks? Only time will tell but we wish him and all his team mates the best of luck.
