Lincoln City FC have confirmed another pre-season
friendly, this time against an European club!
On Wednesday 8th July, The Imps will entertain Hungarian
club Ferencvaros at Sincil Bank.
Although Ferencvaros might not be a familiar name among
English football supporters, they are in fact a sister
club of Sheffield United, who also face Lincoln City in a
pre-season friendly. Ferencvaros are based in Budapest
and are the only Hungarian club to have won an European
competition - the Inter-Cities Fairs Cup in 1965.
Currently, they are building a new 25,000 seater stadium
following investment by Sheffield United's Chairman Kevin
McCabe's Hungarian company.
The admission prices for this game plus the Arsenal and
Sheffield United friendlies have been set at £10 per
person. Please click here for full details of admission
prices.
