Lincoln City FC have confirmed another pre-season friendly, this time against an European club!

On Wednesday 8th July, The Imps will entertain Hungarian club Ferencvaros at Sincil Bank.

Although Ferencvaros might not be a familiar name among English football supporters, they are in fact a sister club of Sheffield United, who also face Lincoln City in a pre-season friendly. Ferencvaros are based in Budapest and are the only Hungarian club to have won an European competition - the Inter-Cities Fairs Cup in 1965.

Currently, they are building a new 25,000 seater stadium following investment by Sheffield United's Chairman Kevin McCabe's Hungarian company.
