Who Will Win League Two?

b1

Win big at Captain Cooks Casino

31st May 2009

The odds for nest season's League Two promotion race have been released by
Paddy Power

The bookies seem not to believe that Lincoln City can mount a realistic promotion charge as they have been priced at 25/1 to win the division. Of course, with our red and white coloured goggles, we Imps' fans might think differently. Realistically though, much is going to depend on the quality of Peter Jackson's summer signings but things have started well with the capture of Richard Butcher. Possibly, an each way bet on Lincoln could pay dividends come May 2010.

Looking down the list, and Rotherham United stand out as a good bet to win the League Two title - priced at 11/1. Were it not for their seventeen point deduction last season then The Millers would have been chasing automatic promotion. Expect much the same from them this season.

An outside bet could be an each way punt on both Torquay (25/1 to win the title) and Port Vale (33/1 to win the title).

Torquay are newly promoted from the Conference and traditionally, teams such as Doncaster Rovers and Exeter City have done well in their first season back in the Football League.

Meanwhile, Port Vale endured a very disappointing season last term, which cost two managers their jobs. Currently, Vale are without a manager but strongly linked to the post are Micky Adams and John Ward. The appointment of either could propel Port Vale into the promotion race as both managers are experienced at this level having won promotion from League Two or the equivalent during their managerial careers.

To take advantage of these odds, simply visit
Paddy Power , who currently have a special "bet £10 get £20 free" bet offer.
