Where You Came From In May

b2

21st June 2009

As there is a shortage of Lincoln City news today, TFI thought you might find this of interest.

Ever wondered where Lincoln City FC supporters originated from? If so, I might be able to provide some of the answers, as I have obtained a list of the various countries that visited The Forgotten Imp last month. In order of popularity:

United Kingdom
United States
Germany
Ireland
Canada
Norway
Australia
Sweden
Italy
Spain
Turkey
Greece
Trinidad and Tobago
Indonesia
Netherlands
Japan
Hong Kong
New Zealand
Brunei Darussalam
Romania
Austria
France
Belgium
Cyprus
Peru

Understandably, countries such as Australia, Ireland, USA and Canada provided the majority of visitors who are interested in Lincoln City FC. Perhaps less well known is that Norway have a thriving Imps' supporters' community, who often make a couple of visits to Sincil Bank over the course of a season.

Romania also provided visitors to the website; no doubt they were checking on the progress of Adrian Patulea.

Finally, we have a regular visitor from Peru - Paddington Bear maybe? - which must be one of the countries you would least expect Lincoln's fortunes to be followed. Move over Manchester United for Lincoln City is truly a global brand!
