Play Free Fantasy Football: Win Prizes

Our friends at Virgin Media have supplied us with details of a free fantasy football competition where you can win an overall prize plus other monthly prizes are awarded during the course of the season. What is more, in addition to these overall prizes, Virgin Media have also promised the end of season overall winner of The Forgotten Imp's mini-league a £50 voucher for Kitbag. Please note that there no monthly prizes awarded for The Forgotten Imp's mini-league but you are still eligible to win Virgin's overall monthly award.

Players do not need to be Lincoln City FC supporters as the competition is open to anyone.

How to take part:

Step 1) Visit Virgin Fantasy football competition website.

Step 2) Register a new account if you do not already have one. Registration takes a matter of minutes ; the hardest part is thinking up a name to give your fantasy football team.

Step 3) Select your team or return to this at a later stage and move straight to step 4.

Step 4) Place the mouse over the heading "Mini-league home" and click "Find a min-league" option.

Step 5) Select "Join an existing league". Click the letter "T" and look for the heading "Theforgottenimp.co.uk". Do not worry if the league currently has a small number of participants as it is only being launched today. Click on the heading and confirm your joining status.

Step 6) Please tell all your friends and family about this free fantasy football game and get them to join The Forgotten Imp's mini-league as the more people joining means a better competition and hence more fun.

Step 7) If you skipped step 3 of choosing your team, then you need to select "Transfer Players" option from the menu heading: "My Team". You will also need to to do this should you wish to transfer players at any stage.
