JAMES LINDLEY
Born: 26th September 1981 in Nottingham.

Position: goalkeeper.

Lincoln City career: 0 appearances between August - September 2000.

Clubs: Lincoln City, Mansfield, Notts County, Gresley Rovers, Tamworth, Hucknall Town, Harrogate Town, Alfreton Town and Ilkeston Town..

James Lindley joined Lincoln City on loan in August 2000 thereby ending then manager Phil Stant's search for a goalkeeper as understudy to Alan Marriott.

A permanent deal was not possible because then Notts County's manager Jocky Scott saw Lindley as a key member of his squad. His loan spell came to an abrupt end in September 2000 when County recalled him. Two months later, he spent a month on loan at Mansfield Town.

A graduate of Notts County's youth academy, he made his Football League debut during the 1999/2000 season by deputising for Welsh International Darren Ward. He earnt the nickname "Schmeichs" as he models himself on former Manchester United goalkeeper Peter Schmeichal.

He drifted into non-league football after leaving Notts County; first he joined Gresley Rovers where he made over 100 appearances in two years. In 2003, Lindley joined Tamworth but only made six appearances before joining Hucknall Town on loan. In 2004 he signed for Stafford Rangers but quickly made a permanent move to Hucknall.

For the 2006/07 season Lindley moved to Harrogate Town where he played 42 times. Upon leaving he joined, first, Alfreton Town then Ilkeston Town in 2008. Soon afterwards, Lindley became disillusioned with the game and retired. However, Hucknall Town persuaded him to return to the game and he signed for a third time at Hucknall.

CRAIG MAWSON
Craig Mawson - a former Lincoln City FC goalkeeperBorn: 16th May 1979 in Keighley.

Position: goalkeeper.

Lincoln City career: 0 appearances between September - November 2000.

Clubs: Burnley, Lincoln City, Halifax Town, Morecambe, Oldham Athletic, Hereford United and Droyslden.

Craig Mawson arrived at Sincil Bank in September 2000 as cover for Alan Marriott following James Lindley's recall to Notts County. He had yet to make his Football League debut when he arrived and that statistic had not changed by the time he left Lincoln City in November 2000.

In February 2001, Mawson left Burnley for good when he signed for Halifax Town on a free transfer; he made just nine appearances for Halifax before joining Morecambe in 2001. This has so far been the pinnacle of Mawson's career as he became Morecambe's first choice goalkeeper and he made 123 appearances during his three years at the club. In 2003, he was named as Morecambe's Player of the Season.

Mawson's form was good enough for Oldham Athletic to take him on an initial loan deal, where he played four times. However, a permanent move did not materialise so he joined Hereford United. He spent two years at Hereford before rejoining Halifax Town in 2006.

Unfortunately, Halifax Town were wound up in 2008 so Mawson signed for Droylsden.

MAHETA MOLANGO
Born: 24th July 1982 in Saint Imier, Switzerland.

Position: striker.

Lincoln City career: 7+(7) appearances, scoring 1 goal between August 2005 - January 2006.

Clubs: Bienne, Atletico Madrid, Lincoln City, UB Conquense, Brighton & Hove Albion, Oldham Althetic, Wrexham and Grays Athletic.

Maheta Molango joined Lincoln City from Brighton in August 2005 on a season-long loan rather than the permanent transfer that was originally expected. Molango impressed during his pre-season trial at Lincoln by scoring regularly.

He had become surplus to requirements at Brighton by slipping to at least fifth-choice in their striking roster. Brighton manager Mark McGhee was willing to allow Molango to leave although he was initially against a loan deal. After some persuasion, the then Imps' boss Keith Alexander managed to secure Molango's services for the entire 2005/06 season.

The multinational striker began his career at Swiss club Bienne, where he was spotted as an 18-year-old by Spanish giants Atletico Madrid. Molango, despite never making a first team appearance for Atletico Madrid, says that he learnt much from his time at the club.

In summer 2004, he came to England where he linked up with Brighton for pre-season training. After impressing during Brighton's pre-season friendlies, he signed a three-year contract at the then Championship club.

Molango made an instant impact at Brighton when he scored within 12 seconds of his debut against Reading. This set a high standard that could only lead to disappointment. After making six appearances for Brighton during August 2004, he lost his place and never played for Brighton again.

Unfortunately, his loan at Lincoln was not a success either and Brighton, Lincoln and Molango agreed to terminate the loan contract to enable his return to Spain in January 2006. Within days of leaving Lincoln, he signed on loan for Spanish Second Division club UB Conquense. He subsequently returned to Brighton and was loaned to Oldham Atheltic at the start of the 2006/07 season.

Molango returned to Brighton's first team briefly before being loaned to Wrexham. His stay there was short and he once again returned to Brighton; this time, Brighton agreed that Molango could have his contract terminated. Afterwards, he joined Conference National club Grays Athletic initially until the end of the 2006/07 season. However, he left after just one month at Grays.
